Rocco is a 5 month old puppy who just wants to please his people, run around and play with his foster fur friends, chew on toys, and curl up with his people at the end of a busy day! He is almost house broken (as long as his human pays close attention), he’s crate trained and sleeps through the night quietly. Rocco LOVES to play fetch in the yard and play with other dogs. He would do great with a big, fun active dog in the home. He’s a gorgeous boy who loves everyone he meets. He is a typical puppy and needs to push boundaries to learn. A strong leader who will continue positive reinforcment training is important. He is very treat motivated and training him has been easy! He is a great listener, and seems to catch on really quickly to training with consistency and redirection.When he follows thru he gets so excited with lots of tail wagging and wiggling, he’s always so proud of himself! He walks well on a leash and would love to have an active family to take him for walks, runs, hiking, and other outdoor adventures. He loves to be outside and have something to do all of the time! He would not be happy in a crate all day, as he has way too much energy and exploring to do. If you work from home, or a are a stay at home family, Rocco would LOVE that. He enjoys being with his people and getting a lot of attention. He has a pretty high energy level so be prepared to spend some quality time playing with him. He will definitely need a home with a yard and plenty of room to run so, unfortunately, apartment life would not be good for him.
