Sweet Kanga is an Australian shepherd about 3 yrs old. Kanga is a sweet girl who gets along with dogs, cats and kids! Kanga Loves getting pets, cheese, treats and laying around the house. She loves attention! She’s still adjusting to life and can be skiddish at times but don’t let that scare you off from meeting her, she really is a sweet girl. She’s not a fan of loud noises and can be fearful of of some men. Her previous owner used her to breed and we think he wasn’t very kind to her. Hence, her fear of some men. Because she was a breeder, she was not socialized as most dogs are. She’s super chill for an Aussie and loves lounging around the house either by herself, with her fur friends or her foster family. She is housebroken and crate trained and very smart, she’s just nervous around new things. She needs a family who will give her a lot of attention, help build her confidence and give her lots of love and positive reinforcment. She is super smart, loving and gentle. Kanga must have another dog in the home to help bring her out of her shell and teach her how to be a family dog. She will follow another dog and learn so much! A fenced yard is required because she was allowed to free roam, she has the propensity to wander off.
