Roger is a cuddle, sweet and playful Golden Doodle who loves to be with his people and his dog friends. He’s would love an active family to take him for car rides and fun adventures.
Meet Roger, the ultimate love bug! This sweet, gentle 1 year old Golden Doodle is happiest when he’s near his person, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He’s a great companion to other dogs and keeps himself entertained with his toys. When he’s feeling playful, Roger loves tossing around his favorite stuffed possum toy and catching it mid-air! He would love to have a dog friend in his new home to play with and keep him company!
He is very smart and is eager to learn. He already knows how to sit and waits patiently for his meals—he’s even learning to play ball! While we’re not sure how he is around kids or cats, we do know he’s incredibly gentle and loves to cuddle, with his favorite spot being right next to you. Like typical doodles, he does jump on people but his foster mom is working on that. Having a home with children would be amazing for him, however, you would need to be very careful around young kids and toddlers.
Roger is working on his manners, including learning to keep his paws on the floor. Though he’s not destructive, Roger is a bit of a biscuit bandit—he’s been caught sneaking paws onto the table once or twice! His foster family is working on manners, but he will need consistent trainging!! He is definitely all puppy. He does not have any recall so a fenced yard will be required for him. While he is mastering leash training, having a secure and safe space for him to run and explore will be necessary.
An active family would be great for Roger, he loves car rides and would be a fun companion to take on adventures!
