Nellis loves to be near you and enjoys your company without being overly needy for snuggles—though let’s be real, he won’t say no to a few hugs and kisses! He gets super excited when anyone from his foster family arrives home. Potty training? Check! He gives a little scratch at the door to let you know he needs to go outside. He’s still mastering his commands like sit, shake, and lay. Don’t expect him to join a game of fetch; tug-of-war is more his style!

Whenever you need to leave, Nellis will happily retreat to his crate, even if it’s not his favorite spot, but he prefers not being in there for long and with a little help could probably do without a crate all together. He’s got a furry foster sister he gets along with famously and is curious about playing with cats too! He enjoys strolls and does great on a leash. Nellis is the ideal companion for someone who loves a laid-back dog; however, being a puppy still means he’s got energy to burn and a curious nature waiting to be explored.
