Larcis

Larcis is an 8 month old Great Pyreneese who is gentle, laid back and very affectionate. In true Great Pyrenees fashion he loves to lounge around outside watching all the people walking by. He is quiet and calm while keeping a protective eye on his foster home.

Larcis is a very smart boy and has already mastered “sit”, is housebroken and crate trained. While he LOVES going for walks, he does still needs some leash training, and obedience training. He’s a little aloof about learning commands, we recommend training with reward based training; giving him lots of praise and treats for rewards.

Larcis would enjoy a dog friend to play with, as he has so much fun playing with his foster fur sister, a sweet lab mix that really has helped bring him out of his shell. He doesn’t mind the company of cats and is gentle with them in his foster home. If you have cats, we do recommend they be dog friendly, though.

Kids! YES!! He loves kids, he gets to run and play, and have special cuddle time with them. He loves having someone else he can protect and guard. He is very tolerant and patience with children, who understand his size, and respect his space. Larcis is a loyal dog through and through and will make a wonderful family companion.
