Howard von Schnitzel aka Howie is a 12 week old male German Shorthaired Pointer with quite the personality. He is very smart and easily redirected. He is very smart, he has been working on sit, down and recall in his foster home. Howie picks up on obedience training really quickly, especially for treats and extra cuddles. He is doing well with potty training, and should have it mastered in no time. He sleeps in his kennel all night with no problems. Howie loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home, both big and small. He would do best in a home where he has a dog friend to play with. Howie was found with his littermates after being dumped in the country so he’s never been without another dog by his side. He relies on his friends to play, to cuddle and to be part of a pack. Being with his foster family is the first time he’s socialized with humans in a home every day so even though he’s a little nervous at first, he warms up very quickly. He is a very sweet little guy who wants to cuddle with you and get lots of love. Howie would do best in a home with a fenced yard to run and play.
