Meet Gwen – your new adventure-loving best friend! Gwen is a stunning Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix (we think) with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She’s an active, intelligent, and affectionate girl who’s ready to find her forever family.
Gwen had a tough start to life—she lost her mama as a newborn and was bottle-fed by loving humans. Because she didn’t get the chance to learn all the “dog things” from her mom, she would thrive in a home with a well-trained, playful dog who can help her continue to learn and grow. She’s a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly—especially when there are toys and treats involved!
This smart girl already knows how to sit and go to her kennel, which she uses as her cozy hangout spot. Gwen is doing great with house training and is a champ on leash and harness. She loves her outdoor time and would be thrilled with an active family who can take her on walks, hikes, and adventures. She’s also a cuddle bug and is perfectly content relaxing next to you on the couch after a fun day.
Gwen is wonderful with kids and will blossom in a home where she gets plenty of attention and love. She’s gentle, loving, and happiest when included in family life. Bonus—she LOVES the water! Whether it’s a kiddie pool, a backyard splash, or a lake day, Gwen is all in.
