Forrester is an active, playful boy who loves going for walks & adventures and then snuggling near his person for naps. He will need an active family and fenced yard.

This sweet, playful, and incredibly friendly dog is looking for an active forever home where he can thrive both physically and mentally. With his unique look and endearing charm, Forrester is sure to win you over the moment you meet him.
Forrester is a gentle and affectionate companion who absolutely loves being around people. He enjoys playing with floppy toys, chasing after balls, and spending time outdoors. Daily walks are a must for him, and he’ll be happiest in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and burn off energy. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best either as the only dog in the home or with a laid-back canine companion, as he prefers to be the top dog. While we’re not sure how he is with cats, he does love to chase squirrels and bunnies, so a home without small animals might be best.
This smart boy is food-motivated and eager to learn. He already knows “sit” and is working on “stay” and “place.” He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and patiently waits for his food. Forrester is house-trained and crate-trained, but he doesn’t need to be crated—he’s done great when left out at night or during short outings. One of his most adorable traits is his “singing” talent; he lets out the cutest hoarse howl when he hears sirens or a song that inspires him to join in.
Forrester would be a great fit for an active person or family who is home often and can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and training. He’ll thrive with structure, consistency, and plenty of attention. While he’s friendly and loving, his energy level and enthusiasm might be a bit much for very small children, so a home with older kids would be ideal. When bored, he tends to pace and look out windows, so mental stimulation is just as important for him as physical activity.
