With her sleek black coat and a tiny white tuft on her chest and toes, and those ears, Freda’s beauty is as lovely as her personality! We are told mama is an australian shepherd/poodle mix but we really don’t know what breed mix she is. Let’s just say, she is really a gorgeous, smart and sweet mutt!
While she can be a little shy around new people at first, Freda is incredibly curious and confident, give her a few treats and she will quickly gain your trust. She loves exploring her surroundings and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely roam and play. Freda is a wonderful companion and gets along great with other dogs, so she’d do best in a home with a dog friend to help her feel comfortable, have a furry playmate and a cuddle buddy.
Freda is smart and eager to please. She’s working hard on potty training, crate training, and leash training, and with lots of praise and treats, she’s making great strides! Freda’s independent spirit means she’ll need a family who appreciates her gentle nature and can give her the time she needs to adjust to new people in her new surroundings. Freda absolutely loves her people and loves to snuggle, so someone home a good part of the day would be great for her. A family with older kids would be wonderful, but because of her shy nature she may be a little intimidated and nervous around younger children, especially toddlers. Freda does love attention, snuggles, and will be a loyal and loving companion.
