Callisto

Callisto is a Golden Retriever and Lemon Beagle mix, and yes we are sure! Dad is a purebred Golden and mama is a white & tan lemon beagle mix. She definitely has the Golden coat and the beagle ears. We aren’t quite sure where the black is coming from, but we do know she is gorgeous! She is very smart and listens to commands like leave it and off, but will need some work on basic things like sitting and waiting for food! She’s such a happy girl and wants to please everyone. Callisto absolutely LOVES going for car rides. She will be a great companion for someone who likes to take their dog everywhere they go. Once she’s leash trained we are sure she will love to go on walks, hiking and other adventures. She would also like to have a fur friend to play with and keep her company when her humans aren’t home. She is working on housetraining but doesn’t tell her foster mom when she has to go out. Having a family who is able to keep her on a routine and schedule is important. Callisto is crate trained and will sleep quietly in her crate all night, as long as there’s a blanket over it so she can’t see her people, She doesn’t like missing anything! She would do great with kids, any age and is okay with cats, too. Callisto is a beautiful, sweet girl who is ready to meet her furever family.
