Charlie is a smart, loving, and oh-so-snuggly girl who is ready to find her forever family! Since coming to the rescue in April, she’s blossomed into the sweetest companion who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Because of her past, left abandoned by her humans, with Heartworm Disease, she can be a little unsure when first meeting new people. Once she has the chance to approach on her own terms, she warms up beautifully and becomes the most loving companion. Treats are a great way to get her to trust you!

Charlie, we think is a boxer/lab mix, but that is a total guess. Whatever breed mix she is, she is a total cuddlebug who wants nothing more than to snuggle under the covers with you every night. A true couch potato at heart, and now that her treatments are over, she’s definitely showing a bit more pep and she’s loving life more every day. It has been such a joy to watch her personality shine through. If you are looking for a loving companion, Charlie may be the perfect fit for you!

She’s already kennel and potty trained, is learning to walk nicely on a leash, and absolutely lives for car rides! She will happily go with you anywhere at any time! She is down for all kinds of fun adventures and will be a perfect sidekick. Charlie adores family time—she lights up when everyone is together, grandchildren included—and she’s happiest when she can soak up love and attention.

This sweet girl would love to be your one and only pup, and in return, she’ll give you endless loyalty, cuddles, and smiles. Treats and snuggles are her love language, and she’s more than ready to trade them for your heart.
