Meet Mary Jane – the perfect mix of playful pup and affectionate companion! Mary Jane is ready to find her forever family! This beautiful girl is as fun as she is loving. With a playful spirit and a heart full of affection, she’ll brighten your days with tail wags, goofy smiles, and cuddles galore.

Mary Jane is a 1 year old lab mix who’s full of life, love, and personality. She adores people and dogs alike and thrives in an environment where she can play, explore, and be close to her people. She will thrive in a home where she gets attention, structure, and love.

She especially loves the outdoors, and we think she’d do best in a home with another playful dog to help her burn off some of that energy. Her puppy energy is completely normal for her age, and she channels it into romping in the yard, going on walks, playing with toys, and wrestling with her dog friends. Walks are the highlight of her day! While she’s still learning not to pull on the leash, she’s making great progress with training. She’s smart, eager to please, and highly treat-motivated, which makes continued training a breeze.

At home, Mary Jane is incredibly well-behaved. She’s never had an accident inside and sleeps peacefully in her crate—as long as it’s in a room with someone nearby. She spent too much of her early life “behind bars”, so being crated alone during the day isn’t ideal for her. A home where someone is around during the day or where she can safely free roam would be a great fit.

Mary Jane is very affectionate and loves meeting new people. She may bark when someone approaches the door or yard, but it’s just her way of protecting her home/people and saying hello. She’s looking for a home with a fenced yard, an active family and a doggy sibling to share her adventures with.
