Inky

This adorable six-month-old pup is searching for a loving family to call his own. If you are looking for a sweet, playful medium size pup, Inky may be perfect for you. Inky gets along well with dogs of all sizes, though we haven’t had the chance to see how he does with cats yet. A dog friend would be best for him so he can have a playmate and help him learn dog things! One thing’s for sure—this little guy is fearless when it comes to playing with dogs! His foster sibling, Mercedes the Great Dane, regularly bowls him over, and he happily takes it in stride.

He’s crate trained, mostly potty trained, and enjoys his walks (even if his sense of direction needs a little refining!). His favorite activities include playing with stuffy toys, rolling in the grass, chasing his foster siblings, and snuggling on his foster mom’s lap. He’ll sit politely for treats, to get his leash attached, and when he’s seeking attention—always taking treats with the gentlest touch.

Inky spent his early months as a stray, so he’s still learning to trust people. He can be timid and nervous around new people, but with time and patience, he blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. While Inky is making great progress, he still needs training and guidance. He would thrive in a home with a well trained dog and humans to help him build trust at his own pace.
