This handsome boy, with the most beautiful eyes is Alfie! He’s a fun loving purebred German Shorthaired Pointer who is just the sweetest boy you ever want to meet! He is great with kids and LOVES to cuddle and snuggle with his humans! His favorite thing is to snuggle under a blanket and nap with you! He’s very smart and knows how to sit, lay down, is potty trained, and kennel trained. He’s not a fan of fetch BUT enjoys chewing on bones and playing tug of war or running!

Alfie loves playing with other dogs and would do best with having a dog friend to wrestle around and play tug of war with. He’s a German short haired pointer, so his breed has an amazing sense of smell and adventure. He would be perfect for an active family who enjoys going for walks, hiking and other outdoor adventures. He definitely need a lot of mental stimulation and exercise to keep this active boy happy. His breed has a lean build so it is important that he gets plenty of protein in his diet to continue to gain weight, he’s a year old now so he’s still in the “scrawny” stage for GSPs. He is very smart and easily redirected, especially withs treats, toys and chew bones. He must have a secure fenced yard to run and play. He can easily climb and escape a chainlink fence, so 6′ fence would be perfect for him!
