Pennee, (pronounced Penny) is THE sweetest dog! Gentle Giant fits her to a Tee. She is a year old St. Bernard who is affectionate and wants to be loved all of the time. Pennee is still a “teenager” and will need to learn some commands. She thrives on positive reinforcement training techniques such as praise, play, and food rewards. She’s a pretty good listener and has caught on quickly to going potty outside. Pennee doesn’t need a big yard or lots of exercise, although she does enjoy a good walk every day when it’s not too hot outside! She is a big girl so having ample inside space is important. She would not be a good apartment dog, due to her size alone! Pennee loves playing with other dogs, and would do best with a dog friend in her new home. She loves playing tug-o-war with her foster fur friend and they enjoy little spurts of playtime together. A low energy dog like her would probably make the best companion. Pennee loves her people and would prefer to have human companionship all day long! She would absolutely love a family with kids but keep in mind, she is a giant breed dog weighing in at 90lbs so it’s best for her to have school age (bigger) kids in the home.
