Our rescue dogs live in foster homes so they can adjust to being part of a loving family.  Our priority is to ensure the pet you want to adopt will be a perfect fit for your home and lifestyle.   We will always try our best to find a match that will be the best fit for the dog and your family. Please note: We do not adopt out of state. Adopter must be within 60 miles of St. Louis/St. Charles County Missouri.

Things to note before completing your application:

Our fosters spend several weeks getting to know their dogs and have a great understanding of what they need for an easy transition to their forever home. We take several things into consideration when reviewing applications. We consider the age of the animal, temperament; how they get along with other dogs, cats, and other animals; men, women and children; what their exercise needs and socialization needs are. We also take into account their history, breed mix, and size. There are many factors that go into placing a dog in the right home so their transition is successful and their new family is happy.  Please understand, we may get a dozen or more applications for the same dog, and as volunteers we cannot personally respond to everyone.  We understand that it is disappointing to apply and not be selected. Our team members will work with you to match you with another pet we feel will be a great fit for you and your family.   We encourage applicants to read the bio on each dog carefully before completing the application.
