Squints is the cutest kitten ever! He came into the rescue with one little squint eye which was the reason behind his name. However, good and bad news- he no longer has his squinty eye.

Squints came into the rescue at just 4-5 weeks old from living in a barn with his 5 littermates.  He is a friendly, curious, sweet and cuddly kitty who loves people and other cats.  He is very social with his foster moms and kids, and will often come curl up on their laps along with his littlermate Smalls. He will start purring when scratched behind his ears and then often go bounding back to play some more before returning to your lap for cuddles. Squints is an easy going, sweet kitty who will do great in a house with a constant human companion or with kids and other animals.  He is litterbox trained, enjoys playing in cardboard boxes, and climbing the cat tree.

We love to see our kittens be adopted with a littermate when possible. Squints and his littlermate Smalls would make a great duo as they both often love to come cuddle up together and have similar temperaments.  Kittens love to have friends, contrary to the belief that cats are loners, they are incredibly social and thrive when they have feline friends, especially a kitten they have bonded with since birth. We always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend.  However, if that just isn’t possible, Squints could be okay as a solo cat as long as he has plenty of love and stimulation with play. Squints will be available to adopt between 10/20 and 11/20. We know it’s a few weeks away but wanted to get this cute little face out there now so you don’t miss out on adopting him!
