Hello! My name is Roshi but my foster family likes to call me Roshandra… I kinda like that, it makes my head turn! I am an orphan, found wandering around in rural Missouri and was picked up by a nice lady and kept safe, fed and warm until my foster mom came and got me. I am super sweet and friendly with everyone, especially people who give me belly rubs. In fact, there isn’t a person, big or small, that I don’t like. I don’t even mind big groups of people or busy environments. I really am a good girl with a gentle soul. I do enjoy running around the fenced yard, but now that I have my very own dog bed to crash, I’m just as happy inside! But my favorite place of all is under the Christmas tree. It kind of makes me feel at home. Since I spent most of my life outside, I am not used to being in a crate. I’ll go in quietly with some encouragement but it’s not my favorite place and I get a little anxious inside. I would much prefer to be left in an enclosed area where I can be a little more relaxed. The same goes for a leash. What is that thing around my neck? I just lay down on my back with my paws in the air, hoping you’ll be distracted by my cuteness. Oh, and I love other dogs. We run and play together but then I like to have my own space to rest. You won’t find me curled up next to another dog! I also like to eat in my own space; it’s just how I roll. If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application and let’s set something up!
