Look at this gorgeous girl Emma! Hard to believe someone would drop her off at a kill shelter, but they did! Emma was going to be euthanized at the Lebanon, MO pound, but we were not going to let that happen. We knew we had to save her and give her the love she deserves. She is a heeler mix, about 1 – 1 1/2 yrs old, 35lbs, and is very sweet. She was in a really bad environment before coming to rescue. She was terrified and very nervous. Her foster mom has given her so much love and attention it didn’t take her long to feel safe and be happy! She really clings to her foster mom and loves to snuggle on the couch with her. She would love to have someone who will take her for walks and snuggle with her. She is still very scared around new people but as soon as she knows you are friendly, she will crawl in your lap and wrap her paws around you. She so desperately wants love she attaches very quickly to her person. She lived with other dogs and older children and ignores cats. If you’d like to meet Emma, please fill out an adoption application.
